After studying in France at the École des Beaux-Arts de Paris and Hunter College in New York, where he lived for 16 years, Édouard Prulhière has been developing a protean style of painting for thirty years. His journey across painting, sculpture, and installation is neither rigid nor unidirectional. He does not belong to any trend, even though his artistic development took place in 1990s New York.
